Who needs a frogman that celebrates the frog version of Halloween? I didn't know it until I did. Calipa is an old school gillip. Worships the vulture god of death. If you're a frog, birds are not your friends.
Calipa is an NPC, but he's also an event of sorts. He is the Bringer of Beltane. While he understands the importance of the ceremony from a religious aspect, he also understands the importance of the festival to bring the people (frogs) together to laugh and have fun. While this may seem very positive for a death priest, he is cursed with the vision of entropy. Sees things, friends and family die and decay.
But for one night, that curse is lifted, and he can enjoy their laughter and smiling froggy faces.
