The session started with the party tucking tail and moving away from the worg and its pack of fifteen wolves. They crossed wolf creek to enter the most northern of the three ruin buildings. The walls were all but gone, only a chimney stood. On the chimney were a trio of kill masks, Rathgar identified them. Warned the party of their potential bad mojo. Fundar found a root cellar and The Great Imbiber provided. He discovered a cask that contained a fine wine. Radovic determined to explore the chimney shoved it over. He was rewarded with finding a leather pouch with 23sp.
The party then explored the middle ruin, found it to be enveloped in a magical darkness within. Valnan, an elf, did not see anything within. Rathgar felt an evil presence within. They turned their attention to the third building, it was filled with green spike leafed bushes. Fundar soon discovered these were brush bushes and harvest some of the brush seeds for his cooking. Within the middle of the building was a corpse on a stone dais. Rathgar recognized the armor as that of a bone soldier. His heart ripped from his chest.
They also found a well that had been filled to the top with dirt. He sense magic from on of the well stones. The well stone went into his pocket.
The party then revisited the dark house. Valnan pulled out his magic sword to light the way. Inside, the group fought a pair of shadows. After dispatching the creatures they discovered a statue of a comely female with her one arm cradling a swaddled infant and a heart in the other outstretched hand. Rathgar immediately recognized the The Divine Mother and Destroyer, Dedragoria. She is the oldest of the seven gods of death. Within a copper bowl was heart sitting atop a magical script.
The majority of the party stayed in the house where the statue was found because of the walls. Fundar broke open his wine cask and they celebrated surviving the day. Valnan and his halfling companion, Filibert stayed outside to guard the area. Three bone soldier moved through the forest toward the house where the party celebrated. Valnan slept the bone soldiers. In the morning Rathgar questioned them why they were there. The party soon discovered that the three of them were brothers that owned a farm. The family was threatened to serve by a priest of Dedragoria, Dradrug, or be killed.
The party agreed to help the brothers. They set off to brothers' farm to lay and wait for Dradrug.
